Here We Grow! Warehouse + Restock Update with Brittani
Exciting news!!! We are literally a day or so away from fully functioning out of our McKinney TEXAS warehouse!! Our teams have been working like crazy to make this happen and we can’t believe it’s nearly reality!!
So what does this mean for Washington and why Texas?
We knew eventually we would need a second warehouse, but to be 100% honest, God completely brought us here much sooner and made it all fall into place more perfectly than I could have imagined (I’m still pinching myself that it’s even real!). My incredible sister in law Brenda and her husband Eric will be running all Texas operations, while I continue to run the established day to day with the Washington team.
More warehouse space was the main reason we needed to open a second location, and it was important to us that we continued to have 100% control. Every single aspect of LB process, starting with in house design, to having product in hand, quality controlled, packaged and shipped worldwide from our Everett headquarters. All customer experience, social media and the day to day behind the scenes is all run and operated by the incredible Little Bipsy team.
We also needed more space so I can continue to dream and create! Clothing aside, I have a goal to establish the LB Foundation that serves and supports new parents, babies and children (but that can be a story for another day), but with God’s grace and your support we’re already beginning the first phase of making that a reality.
So, we are moving a portion of our inventory and shipping to Texas to better serve the East Coast shipping wise, and the Washington warehouse will continue to ship to the West Coast and support the growth of the LB foundation. We are also making some super exciting additions to the LB collection as we grow our seasonal designs, expand our sizing up to 10 years and start offering a whole lot more for adults. All of that requires lots more space to hold incoming inventory as we continue to grow!
This will be a gradual addition as our first shipping run from Texas will be our Waffle Collection restock!! From there we will work our way towards making Texas an equal receiving and shipping hub and eventually offer a fully operational shoppable showroom for our Texas locals in the future.
We SO appreciate your patience as we hit ‘go’ on this exciting expansion, and work out any unforeseen bumps that may come our way! Myself, my family and the incredible LB team all thank you for believing in us and making this dream a celebrated reality. We can’t wait to continue this journey with you!!
