kids jackets faqs

What size jacket does a 2 year old need?

Most 2 year olds are in our 2-3T. Because a jacket goes over other layers, size up to 3-4T if they're tall, if you're buying for winter, or if you want two seasons out of it.

Should I size up in a kids' jacket?

Usually yes, by one size. Check the sleeve reaches the wrist without swallowing the hand, and that they can still bend their arms freely over a jumper.

Which jacket is right for which weather?

Windbreakers handle wind and light rain, denim jackets and shackets suit mild days and layering, and zip hoodies work as a warm mid-layer under something heavier.

What kind of jackets does Little Bipsy make?

Denim jackets, hooded denim jackets, windbreakers, zip hoodies, and shackets, in baby through big-kid sizes.

Are the jackets waterproof?

Our windbreakers handle wind and light showers rather than heavy rain. For sustained wet weather you'll want a dedicated waterproof.

How do I wash a kids' jacket?

Zip or button it closed first so hardware doesn't snag, then wash cold and hang dry. Heat can warp zips and shrink shell fabrics.
