Hoodies have a hood (pullover or zip). Crewneck sweatshirts skip the hood for a tidier look under jackets.

Zip hoodies are great for quick temperature changes and easy on/off. Pullovers feel extra cozy and keep warmth in on windy days.

The shoulder seam should line up with the shoulder. Sleeves reach the wrist without bunching at the palm. The hem should cover the waistband with a little room to layer.

Many schools allow plain hoodies or crewneck sweatshirts. Check your school’s dress code. Solid colors and simple designs are usually a safe pick.
